Risk Assessment, Monitoring and Management

The Company has developed a modern slavery risk management framework. The risk management framework assesses risk of modern slavery by The Company’s suppliers. The framework assesses country of manufacture, labour and Benzoil’s annual spend.

In order to evaluate and address risks of modern slavery in The Company’s supply chain, Benzoil has developed a detailed supplier self-assessment questionnaire (SAQ) which is aligned to The Company’s core values and principles. Benzoil requires high risk suppliers to complete the SAQ. The SAQ includes questions about the supplier’s policies, management practices, business ethics, labour standards specifically relating to protection of employees’ human rights and prevention of modern slavery. Benzoil assesses the SAQ along with any external ethical assessment results the supplier provides.

Training

Benzoil provides modern slavery e-learning training to all employees, via the anti-slavery online platform – https://antislavery.org.au.

Looking Forward

Benzoil annually reviews its risk assessment framework metrics and data capture to improve the risk assessment results. The Company continues to expand the number and scope of suppliers required to complete the SAQ and provide external ethical assessment results.
